Hey there!
As mentioned in the other post, this episode wasn't just fun to put together, it was an awesome experience. Getting to work with a real-live photographer (![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) kylecassidy) and being in the company of the real-live actress trillian_stars and real-live archaeologist whafford was very, very cool.
And whafford was even good enough to post a "behind the scenes" entry over at his LJ so be sure to check it out and leave a note!
Plus, since we absolutely loved Kyle's work and there were several commenters who also enjoyed them, we've put some wallpaper sized pictures in our LJ gallery if you want to take a look over there.
If there are any other pictures from the episode that you'd like to see at their largest size, or have for a desktop, let us know and we'll put it up.

| Abe & Kroenen Noir: The Jensen File |

Hey everyone!
Way way back in August, we were lucky enough to have the chance to work with Kyle freakin' Cassidy (kylecassidy), an amazing and accomplished photographer, plus an accomplished 'cool dude'. He suggested a Noir-themed episode of A&K and we excitedly rose to the challenge.
He asked us, when we had finished with photo time on August 10th, when this episode would see the light of day. "October?" he suggested. I personally scoffed at him and Rebecca was quick to join me in doing so.
"Pff, maybe two weeks?" she said with the confidence of someone who had previously spent hours digitally painting pseudo-Hellboy yellow for several episodes. This was just black and white!
I, knowing that I can be what you call 'meticulous' or, hey, 'self-loathingly precise' about the writing of this comic, added "Latest, maybe, September, first week, because the writing has to be extra awesome. But that's at the absolute latest."
...
So anyway, Happy Halloween! And without further ado, Abe & Kroenen Noir.

Thank you all for being so patient!
Of course, not only was Rebecca’s computer stolen, but the month of September also means a return to school and a reshuffling of schedules which naturally delayed things a bit longer than we'd initially thought. We’d really like to thank you all for sticking it out with us last month, and for all of the kinds words and well-wishes you gave in regards to the laptop situation.
We should have a new episode of Abe and Kroenen up this weekend! We promise! But, until then, take a look at some exciting artwork and other Abe and Kroenen inspired bits:

Hey everyone!
I'm pleased to say that we had an awesome time at Fan Expo in Toronto, met a lot of really cool people and did some really neat-o stuff! And the San Diego Comic Con in July was rad!
I am considerably less pleased to say that, when Rebecca returned to the city, she found out she had been robbed. Her laptop and tablet were stolen and since Rebecca generally handles the computer-y side of things for A&K (lettering) we've lost a bunch of stuff, including work done on the next episode. So I figured I would post this here to say:
A) We're on a mini-break while Rebecca gets sorted out computer-wise
B) Stealing laptops is bad form
C) We'll try to put out a news post in the meantime
Oh! And also, we got a few comments and e-mails about the fact that some of our pictures weren't working in a bunch of the older episodes. I think we've managed to get them back up, so hopefully there won't be any problems and you can read back without missing any of the RAW EXCITEMENT AND ADVENTURE!

From Preview Night on Wednesday to the 22nd to Sunday the 26th, we will be escorting Abe and Kroenen around the San Diego Comic Con.
As professional geeks, we'll also be in costume, so you'll be looking for Catwoman (Kim) and Sally Jupiter (Rebecca)...or just the two girls excitedly clutching the A&K action figures.

| Happy (belated) Canada Day! And Happy Birthday Us! |

And now, both of us would like to thank everybody here for being so awesome and sticking with us for FOUR RIDICULOUS YEARS of this absurd little comic, because that's as amazing as it is weird. We really appreciate every person who reads, every single comment we get and every person you introduce to the comic and the fact that both Del Toro and Mignola have been awesome and great to us(and not litigious). It's super cool that all you guys have given us the opportunity to entertain you by making toys kiss and that you've been offering us your time, your words and your art. Similarly, Parker and the folks at DelToroFilms.com have been just as groovy and we're featured on the front page, now, which is really great and has been very helpful.
Also, welcome back, Rasputin! We missed your charm, your face and your broken arm that DOESN'T MOVE PROPERLY AND KEEPS POPPING OUT OF THE SOCKET UGH. We wouldn't replace you for anything except another figure of yourself.
Finally, welcome to the new readers! Enjoy the archives! There's like, 1500+ pages in there, so bring a flashlight.
