Happy sort of St. Patrick's day!


HEY!



Alright, so technically St. Patrick's day was two days ago but we're not purists so here it is on the 17th! And it comes with the promise of a new episode in a couple days (we're working on it! It'll appear on your friends page before you know it!) but also a question...

Is anyone here attending the New York Comic Con? Because we are! And it's the first con for either of us (or at least me...I should ask Rebecca. But I assume here and I like to make grand statements while she isn't looking. Did you know I'm also an astronaut? And that I once wrote a best-selling novel under my pen-name, Dan Brown?) so it's bound to be be neat. Anyway, if anyone's gonna be there let us know so we can say hi. And if you're an exhibitor, let us know so we can come over to your booth and take your stuff.

Ah...thanks for the link. Several people have told me over the last week that Saint Patrick's Day was on Saturday, and I thought they were just talking about the public parades being held in various cities.

Here in Boston (only) the 17th is a public holiday complete with no school and city offices closing for the day. We call it "Evacuation Day" and it's supposed to commemmorate a winning battle in the American Revolutionary War, but it's a very thinly disguised excuse for having the day off to get drunk and celebrate St. Patrick's Day. There's still a huge proportion of the city's population that can trace it's ancestry back to Ireland.

Hope you both have a lot of fun a the convention!!

No way! You'll be at the New York ComicCon?!? I squeee with joy! I'm gonna be there. Hopefully through one of the school clubs (which means helping out at a booth for a bit).

And Happy St. Patricks Day!!!! That picture is adorable.

I'm not going to the Con, but now I wish I was. You know, completely ignoring little things, like not having the funds due to my terrible, terrible student job and New York only being across the continent and out of my country. But for serious, if some year, I actually make it to the Con, I will demand (Demand!) that you guys be there.

But not this year. : (

Also, happy St. Patrick's day. (now that I sound like a creepy stalker.)

Well I'll be an the NYCCN obviously, though I don't know specifically what I'll be doing. Possibly working around the DC booth again (in the sense that when people are looking for tall bald men named Brian, I can point them to which one is Bendis, Woods, Vaughn...), possibly not doing anything but catching up with my homies (I can still say that right? Is "homies" still cool?).
